It has been so long since I opened up this blog to write something down. I am low-key embarrassed😔 and disappointed in myself! I have been talking about and wanting to write a 📖book for years! I have so many ideas, notes, and stuff recorded that I don't know where to start. What kind of literature do I want to create? When I start, will I have enough content and consistency to pull it off? Sure, you will if you just get started and discipline yourself. ❤️ This is a reminder that sometimes you have to encourage yourself!

 

My friend, the late Corey "Scooby Doo" Davis always said to just start ✍🏽writing. Don't worry about it being neat and correct, just start! Write something everyday. It doesn't have to be the same thing, you can worry about that later. 

Lately, I have been seeing other creators on TikTok talk about not having a specific niche! Well hell! I've been on that for a while now. We are not one or even two-dimensional people, so why do we even think that is how we should be?🤔 I'm all over the place most of the time, and honestly, I love that about myself! I can pivot easily in most situations. 

Thank you Brene Brown and therapy! Check out her TED talk here. Speaking of therapy... I need to go again. Not because something is wrong, but because it is the right thing to do. I just jumped out on faith and retired! Lawd knows I couldn't afford to retire, but I did anyway because it was time and I am faithful that I will pivot into my next career easily. After all, I have been preparing for this for the last 30 years! It was definitely time for me to do my own thing. Being bogged down by someone else's system was taking a toll on me. FREEDOM is worth everything to me! But...now, what is it you would like to do? How do you want your businesses to develop? What are you pivoting into? You have so many talents and opportunities, which way will you go first?
